Rakuten Link Call and SMS Charges
Charges vary depending on the phone/messaging app used by the recipient.
When the Recipient is Using Rakuten Link
Calls and messages with Rakuten Link users: free for both Android and iOS users.
*Without Rakuten Link: Domestic calls cost 22 yen per 30 seconds. Calls from domestic to overseas and between overseas countries are charged per minute, varying by country/region, and are limited to eligible overseas areas.
SMS Charges: Domestic SMS are billed at 3.3 yen per 70 characters (double-byte). International SMS cost 100 yen (non-taxable) per 70 characters (double-byte), and are available only in eligible overseas locations.
When the Recipient is Not Using Rakuten Link
Your product may offer different features of the Rakuten Link service, as they can vary depending on the product you are using.
